Are you looking for more distance out of your Bridgestone J715 (or any other make/model)? We have invented a process known as golf driver shaving which reduces the face thickness on drivers to create more trampoline effect and distance. The science behind this is simple: a thinner club face allows the face to flex more when it hits a ball and then spring back with much more velocity.

We are being talked about on all the golf forums, blogs and golf courses! We can help you hit further than you have ever hit before or help senior players regain some of the distance they have lost over the years.

I heard gel gives you a hook and foam causes a slice. If you want to hit it straight, try 'miracle whip' I do it old school style and work up a nice rich lather of Williams Mug shaving soap and apply it with a horse hair brush. This ensures that the club feels special and is not being given a quickie.

'Shaved' at least 6 strokes off my game on Sunday. Whatever you do, don't use Nair. A clean shaved driver is a happy driver, dont forget to douse with a generous amount of alcohol to prevent shaving bumps. Really only one putt yesterday I was really unhappy with. Hit a wedge into a par 3.

Was at least 20ft short of the hole. Crater for a ball mark where I landed and sucked it back that I had to putt back through. It was uphill then back down with 6” or so of left break coming back down. I hit the putt up and didn’t give it enough to get back down. Left it 3-4ft short. Never gave it a chance. Tough putt tho since you are coming downhill to the hole and don’t want to run it.

Still felt like being that short was a bad effort. I'm about to head out to the Northwest Open. It's played at Wine Valley, which is where I played my US Open qualifier.

I've been hitting the ball much better recently, so I feel prepared enough. I found that my grip had gone too strong and thus, I was closing the face too fast around impact.

I weakened it a bit and I straightened everything out. Short game is continuing to improve; just need to make sure I take slower swings, as I tend to get very quick. Putting should be good, I like their greens.

Driver will be interesting. My own driver had the weight insert break off a week ago, so I sent it back to Ping to get a new weight installed. My back up is the Srixon 765, but I just don't hit it as well as I'd like to.

So, I took the demo G400 Max head and put a Hazardous X Flex on. I've hit it well so far, so I'm hoping that continues. I'm bringing my Srixon just in case. Course will play shorter than it did in the qualifier both in total yardage and firmness of the fairways. I'm hoping to get in a few holes tonight to see how well the greens are holding, but I'm not too concerned there.

I don't have to walk in the 90+ heat this time, so I shouldn't get too tired. Main goal is to play whatever game I bring and have fun. TST Blog Entries.
